Overview:
Auro Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to lead the North Charleston Marriott. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Food & Beverage (F&B) and Rooms management, and will possess exceptional leadership and operational skills. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Marriott and Full Service Hotel Management Experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to all hotel departments, with a particular focus on F&B and Rooms. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards in all areas, promptly addressing and resolving any guest issues.
Financial Performance: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures, striving to achieve and exceed financial targets.
Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations in F&B and Rooms, ensuring compliance with Marriott and Auro Hotels standards and policies.
Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to increase occupancy and revenue. Build strong relationships with local businesses and organizations.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards. Maintain a secure and safe environment for guests and staff.
Community Involvement: Represent the hotel in the local community and actively participate in community events and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, with a strong background in F&B and Rooms management. Experience with Marriott brand standards is a plus.
Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attributes: Customer-focused, results-oriented, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Salary: Up to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
