What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Management Specialist position at MARS Group?
The Risk Management Specialist Is responsible for responding to customer and project managers on certificate of insurance requests, maintaining and filing certified payroll reports for government, respond to customer requests on commercial insurance and bonds on specified commercial job projects.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Oversee and manage customer requests for job projects documents such as certificates of insurance, certified payroll reporting, bonds, and commercial insurance requests.
Manage company insurance certificates (certificates of insurance) Scheduling timely delivery of risk management documents to the project manager and/or external customers.
Manage legal deadlines, maintain legal files and documents, and monthly legal reporting on construction projects Able to understand and communicate company insurance and bonding requirements. Prepare reports to send to customers, General Contractors or management team. Supports project management with both internal and external reporting.
Maintain compliance related policies and procedures Assist in the develop and implementation of new compliance related processes.
Advises management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, schedule and customer relationships.
Experience and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to effectively communicate across job projects and departments
Strong organizational and analytical skills to effectively deal with large amounts of data and tasks Computer, data entry and MS Office Skills
Excellent time management skills, ensuring that project documents are completed within given deadlines
Experience working with construction insurance policies a plus Able to handle private, sensitive, confidential information appropriately Several years of proven work experience in construction or commercial projects Candidate will preferably have 3-5 years in a construction or contracts position or comparable client service capacity.

Pay: $62,222.25 - $75,998.06 per year
