What are the responsibilities and job description for the WI- Registered Nurse NICU position at MARS Solutions Group?
Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Minimum experience: 2-3 years
First time traveler: Prefer not to be first assignment
Beds: 18
Patient types: Level III
Mandatory skills: CPAP, vent, chest tube management, UAC/UVC, micro preemie experience, NAS
Certifications: NRP, STABLE, BLS
Patient ratios: 1-1, 1-3
Floating: NO
Telemetry Monitoring: No
Call: Occasional
Weekend obligation: Every other or every third weekend.
Holiday: At lesat one holiday during the contract.
Shift: Nights. Open to full time 8 hour shifts ( 5 days/week) or 12 hour shifts ( 3 days/week)
