The Finance Manager - Warehouses & E2E Planning serves as a trusted business partner in the S&F / Finance organization and provides financial leadership in the following of critical P&L areas :
LCC warehouse : Act as the CFO for warehouse P&L Line and partner with the Regional Logistics Managers (RLMs) in the pursuit of operational excellence and cost efficiency through a variety of initiatives including : cost & inventory management, value leadership, asset utilization, ICE, and building financial acumen.
Additionally, the position provides transparency on operating results, clarifies key performance indicators for warehouse through variance analysis, cost structure analysis, benchmarking and period reporting.
E2E Planning : Act as a critical player to the E2E planning organizations to drive cash and P&L improvements through FG Primes Inventory and D&D process optimization.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of relevant work experience, with manufacturing or supply chain business partnering experience
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
Provides business partnership support and financial guidance to the Regional Logistic Managers (RLM)in the follow capacities :
- Manages all financial areas of warehouse, including ownership and accountability for proper reconciliations of the related balance sheet and P&L
- Leads the operating plan, revised forecasts and strategic planning cycles for the warehouse network including productivity, value leadership, operating costs, NQC and inventory
- Lead the planning, period close, inventory management, supply systems and forecasting processes as follows :
- Coordinates input, administration and execution of site operating objectives in compliance with established timelines
- Leverages site and technology financial analytics to build reporting in support of understanding period results, inventory movement and planning / forecasting process to drive financial insight
- Ensure accuracy of inventory across the warehouse network in accordance with the finance manual and cycle count policy
- Prepares and analyzes scheduling / staffing financial impacts
- Prepares and analyzes optimal site locations at lease renewal and scenario planning
- Provide volume / mix analysis to support cost structure, decision making and commitment delivery and reflects properly in the site forecast
- Completes ad hoc analysis as required
- Business partner with the planning groups across the network to unlock cash from FG & primes inventory
- Partner with the RLMs, warehouse teams, both management and floor associates, to identify cost improvement / efficiency opportunities and value added innovation.
- Tracks savings on implemented projects and reports progress against annual efficiency targets
- Partners with warehouse manager and RLMs to foster an effective control environment
- Ensure visibility on critical ICE results and gaps to the Regional Logistics Managers
- Observes inventory cycle counts and review proposed inventory adjustments
- Reviews inventory reconciliation to ERP system and inventory management systems to ensure accuracy of reported balances
- Coordinates efforts with external financial auditors when site is selected
- Contributes to the culture of accountability and responsibility at warehouses by tracking action plans for key initiatives, addressing root cause issues to drive sustainable operating improvements.
Identify trade offs and escalate operating plan variances as appropriate
