As a Mars Foodservice Commercial National Accounts Manager, you will leverage iconic brands like M&M’S®, Snickers®, Twix®, Skittles®, Dove®, and Ben’s Original® with the aim of developing menus offerings for the biggest restaurant chains in the US.
This role is responsible for the delivery of sales with a specific focus on establishing, fostering, and growing partnerships at foodservice national accounts for the Mars Food and Mars Wrigley businesses. This includes leading all prospecting, sales and forecasting efforts to secure and expand menu offerings medium to large Commercial Foodservice customers.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree
5 yrs. combined experience foodservice sales account management with a focus on medium to large customers.
Advanced understanding of developing optimal promotional activations in the foodservice industry
Fluent understanding of forecasting, Nielsen and trade management system
Availability to travel 10 % of time
What would be your key responsibilities?
Establish & Grow Customers: Responsible for delivering profitable sales at medium to large Foodservice customers for Mars Wrigley & Mars Food.
Maintain & Grow Other Customers: Continue to develop business with existing customers within the assigned portfolio in line with MW established priorities.
Open New Doors: Focus on prospecting efforts that yield new and incremental business at restaurant operators. This includes establishing partnerships with distributors and manufacturers that can support solutions leading to securing menu placements.
Grow Menu Placements: Secure the continuation of existing menu placements and deliver incremental sales through additional permanent and/or limited time offerings.
Forecast the Business: Command and control the business through effective and accurate forecasting of demand for customers in the portfolio.
Maximize Return on Investment: Responsible for leveraging accrued trade and other available resources to deliver and exceed top line targets while maintaining desired profitability.
Expand Digital Footprint: Grow and execute digital engagement by harmonizing customer’s digital strategies and tactics with our plans. Drive our digital menu presence through optimal placement and investments in digital path to purchase.
