Job Skills / RequirementsAs you might expect, maintenance, repairs and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:
- Ensure all facility systems and other equipment are performing at optimal levels by performing routine preventive maintenance addressing underlying issues and performing the necessary repairs and/or adjustments.
- Maintain all utilities systems for electricity, water, steam, gas, oil, compressed air, communications, and data networks.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor services to ensure activities are performed according to contract.
- Assist with securing all required permits and coordination/liaison with local authorities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and building regulations.
- Coordinate with ESSH staff to maintain a safe work environment by following through on assigned safety tasks, performing ergonomic evaluations, and managing necessary accommodations.
- Able and willing to work off hours during emergency situations.
- May perform some custodial tasks as needed.
- Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior
- Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism
- Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made
- Ensures one's own compliance with the company's published Operations Standards
Pay: Starting at $65k DOE
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:30p on-call as needed
Minimum Requirements
- HS degree or equivalent
- 5 – 7 years of related experience
- Able and willing to work on-call as needed to ensure continuous operation of facilities and respond to other critical issues
- An associate degree in a related field is desirable.
- HVAC or Boiler license is desirable.
