Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position- National Transportation Industry Leader- Open to Multiple Locations in the US (Hybrid Role- 3 days in office or with clients)

The National Transportation Industry Leader, this position manages a major industry segment across the US. This position sets the strategic direction and is accountable for all growth, retention and servicing related activities within this industry across the US. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this position is a thought leader for driving differentiated offerings via innovation and best practices. This position is the face of the industry internally and externally and responsible for building the brand and acquiring and developing key talent. Cultivating an environment focused on diversity is a critical component of this leadership role. You will ensure our efforts meet colleague & business expectations and reflect best practices.

  • Develop Transportation industry specific content to educate colleagues on industry trends and build expertise in the firm.

  • Accountable for client retention results within the Transportation industry.

  • Develop and execute a national business strategy to grow the Transportation industry and retain clients within the Transportation industry segment.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment in all geographies.

  • Provide thought leadership on the unique challenges facing Transportation sector and ensure client-facing teams are best in front.

What you need to have: 

  • Dedicated transportation industry experience required; manufacturing industry experience a plus.

  • Experience increasing market share annually.

  • Ability to lead directly and indirectly across highly matrixed culture.

  • Experienced at attracting/retaining talent and building diverse teams.

  • Skilled at building and retaining a complex book of business and directing service teams.

  • Track record of success developing & executing growth plans for large territory/geography.

  • Growth oriented mindset.
