POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Education & Accreditation Services Director, and the guidance of the Standards Coordinator, the Standards Consultant RN assists with review, evaluation and facilitation of formulating and writing clinical standards, order sets, clinical documentation and related forms and documents for Marshall Medical Center (MMC). The Standards Consultant RN assists the Standards Coordinator in maintaining the web based procedures/skills database, as well as timely routine review and update of standards, order sets, documentation and forms throughout the organization.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Current State of California Registered Nursing License.
Graduation from a school of nursing with documented competency in area of clinical expertise, required.
Knowledge:
Minimum of five years recent acute care RN experience is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements related to policies, procedures order sets and documentation strongly preferred.

Excellent clear and concise writing ability
Ability to prioritize work assignments, assign and delegate work as appropriate
