Barista/Cashier

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Skills:
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes
- Excellent food handling skills to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling purposes
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry regulations and best practices
- Proficient in operating cash registers or other payment processing systems
- Strong sales skills to upsell products and increase revenue
