What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Person - Maintenance - Graveyard Shift position at Marvin?
Job Purpose:
Your typical day will be fast paced working in collaboration with cross functional teams to achieve organizational success through the work we carry out in our support of Marvin’s production equipment. You will be coordinating the work performed by our Repair and Preventive Maintenance Support teams including but not limited to Production Equipment, Facility Support, Buildings, Fire Response, Repairs, and Preventative Maintenance. You will provide valuable input for day-to-day decisions regarding safety, quality, crewing and work priorities for the team.
Highlights of your role
- Provide daily team task assignments based on work required.
- Provide direction and oversight regarding required PPE for the tasks at hand.
- Coordinate staffing for and guidance of work to complete tasks on time and on budget.
- Facilitate the support for production equipment through downtime tracking, EAM, through departmental management
- Provide feedback to management and project planners regarding task, material and labor requirements
- Participate in periodic safety training as required by OSHA, MPCA, NFPA, etc.
- Ensure that staff are accurately booking time to work orders daily.
- Aide in tracking the training level of the RPPM maintenance staff. Help to identify training gaps and work with them to build up their abilities.
- Ensure PM’s and repairs are being completed on time.
You are a good fit if you have
- A strong focus on customer service and driven for success
- Ability to learn and grow at an accelerated pace
- Prior experience performing work planning and providing direction a must
- Experience with mechanical/electrical maintenance a plus
