Summary

We seek an Engineer with a strong interest in web and mobile application development. In this role, you will assist in analyzing, designing, documenting, implementing, and testing web and mobile applications. You will work closely with both the business and IT teams to contribute to the strategy and future direction of these applications. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of web and mobile technologies and be eager to learn and grow while working on various projects.

Essential Duties

• Assist in designing, implementing, documenting, testing, and analyzing web and mobile programs and applications.
• Participate in a scrum team, helping to analyze backlogs and transform them into actionable stories and tasks.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of web and mobile applications under the guidance of more experienced team members.
• Support the development of automated unit, integration, and UI tests for web and mobile applications to ensure desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members on tasks, gaining exposure to cross-functional skills and development best practices.
• Learn from mentors and senior engineers while working with implementation partners.
• Research new technologies and best practices, contributing ideas for improvements to IT policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Practice and learn development methodologies, including agile, by actively participating in the development process.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant academic or internship experience in IT or related fields.
• Exposure to web and mobile application development through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with systems analysis and design principles, with a desire to build practical experience.

Technical Knowledge/Skills

• Basic understanding of security requirements, microservices, service-oriented architecture, design patterns, and SOLID design principles.
• Familiarity with multi-threaded systems, automated unit testing, test-driven development, and acceptance test-driven development.
• Foundational knowledge of web and mobile software architecture.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Salesforce (Sales, Service, Experience Clouds), .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, JQuery, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Salesforce platform programming languages like Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Basic understanding of mobile application development.
• Introductory knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and cloud platforms like Azure.
• Basic understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT.
• Interest in learning and applying DevOps methodology.
• Awareness of information security principles and best practices.

• A foundational understanding of industry best practices, including modern architecture, development practices, ITIL, Agile, and DevOps.

Annual Salary Range: 85,500-109,250
