RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements strategies to attract visitors to Marysville while promoting local business
- Works to bring meetings, tours and new events to Marysville
- Develops and implements local public relations campaign
- Collects and analyzes marketing data
- Coordinates with event planner for major local festivals
- Provides on-going training and professional development opportunities for business owners and community leaders
- Serves as a liaison between local organizations
- Oversees the yearly budget for both organizations
- Attends conferences and regional meetings
- Communicates with City staff and elected officials on a regular basis
- Maintains the community calendar and all social media platforms
- Helps create vision and implements direction for both organizations
- Keeps consistent, strong lines of communication with Chamber & Main Street members and prospective members
- Maintains and increases Chamber & Main Street membership while meeting the needs of current members
- Oversees the economic vitality and design of Marysville’s historic downtown
- Provides leadership and establishes relationships with community members
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
- Three (3) years experience in economic development or marketing preferred

Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
Schedule:

- Bachelor's (Required)

- Adobe InDesign: 3 years (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
- Print advertising: 3 years (Preferred)
