Job Posting for Technician Field Services at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise
Under the leadership of the Senior Technicians, the Technician is responsible for providing on site end-user support services to Tribal and the Gaming Resorts Casino facilities, by performing first level IT equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Provides solutions to operational problems of Computer Hardware and Software, Wired and Wireless Data and Voice Communications to PBX, Router, and specialized Casino Gaming and Resorts Hospitality Architecture, by utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Associate degree in Computer Science or technical school graduate or one (1) year of experience as a Technician in a similar IT environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows and software packages that include specialty software.
Must be familiar with troubleshooting a variety of hardware issues. A , MCSE Certification is a plus. Must possess strong work ethic and ability to work as a Team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess knowledge of Desktop and Notebook Computer Architecture and IT peripherals.
Analog, Digital, VOIP and Wireless Voice Data Telecommunications experience is a plus. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
