Masis Staffing Solutions is currenlty looking for Manufacturing Braided Floor Person for one of our busy clients located in Cumberland, RI. This is a Temp to Hire positions with excellent benifits and competitive pay. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, punctual, trainable, and open to continuous improvement.

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday
3:00pm to 11:00pm
What would you be doing you ask?
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checks to see if material needs to be moved from one area to another on the floor.
- Cleans braiders as needed.
- Helps mechanics in machine changeover to new yarn type, filler and rubber as needed
- Cleans and maintains work area.
- Transports braid waste to weighing station; weighs waste and records weight on inventory adjustment form.
- Returns all unused supplies to proper storage areas.
- Performs other duties at or above the same skill level at the discretion of the Supervisor.
- Overall awareness and understanding that operates within the EMS 14001 & QMS 16949 management system.
- Additional training over the course of the employee's tenure will be given as needed or required and in accordance with the criteria specified in ESP7.2/QSP 7.2.1Training Awareness and Competence.
Experience and Education:
- Up to and including three (3) months. .
Preffered Knowledege and Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Communication
- The ability to read, write and follow instructions.
- A working knowledge of English is preferred.
ADDITIONALNOTES:
- The incumbent must bend and stoop frequently. The incumbent must be able to lift to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
- The job requires standing for an eight (8) hour day.
- Due to the machinery used in the job, the work area contains higher than normal levels of grease, noise and dust. The incumbent is exposed to frequent fluctuations in temperature as outside weather conditions permit.
