What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Masis Staffing?
Masis Staffing Solution is now hiring Material Handler for one of our client located in Leominster, MA
Schedule:
1st shift 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday
Job Duties:
*Accepts finished product from manufacturing processes into finished goods inventory.
*Physically counts cartons of finished product per released pallet, and confirms pallet count report accuracy.
*Determines ship dates, delivery locations/addresses, and shipment quantities and allowed overages per item through the systematic creation of computer generated “pick-slips.
*Pick delivery releases from finished goods inventory.
*Creates pallet tags for both delivery pallets and inventory pallets of finished goods. *Wraps and straps pallets of product to prevent damage during storage and/or shipment.
*Loads trailers and trucks using hand truck or forklift trucks.
*Inspects and accepts receivables from FED EX, UPS and other freight carriers. *Distributes receivables to department manager
*All other task as assigned.
