What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Inspector position at Masis Staffing?
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and testing a variety of materials to possibly include: Concrete, Masonry, Fireproofing, Welding, Bolting, Framing, Soils, Asphalt and more.
- Able to lift samples weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Able to manipulate samples up to 100 lbs. or more with assistance, whether mechanical or with the assistance of co-workers.
- Able to work independently as well as come in early, stay late, or work during the weekend as necessary to accommodate construction schedules
Required Qualifications:
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency with a calculator
- Team player who can work well with others.
- Valid drivers’ license

- ICC certifications
- WABO certifications
- AWS CWI certification
- NICET certification
- WAQTC certification
***Bolting and structural experience, ideally D1.1***
