Licensed Massage Therapists 

Massanutten Resort is currently searching for a licensed Massage Therapist who thrives on providing exceptional spa experiences while exceeding guest expectations. We are looking for a successful candidate who brings a positive personality to the workplace, has great customer service skills, and is willing to work a flexible schedule. In addition, he or she will not be afraid to promote retail and service products with confidence, be a strong team player, and can work independently or in a group setting.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to attending and participating in meetings/training sessions, ensuring spa facility is clean, safe and well organized, setting up spa and work stations, assisting with keeping linens clean and tidy while replacing them between sessions, sterilizing equipment, accompanying guests to and from treatment rooms, consulting clients to identify appropriate massage services, providing massage services, maintaining records and filing documentation, and complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations. 

Massage Therapist requirements include holding a Virginia Massage Therapy License, proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, hot stone, trigger point, prenatal, sport and deep tissue massage. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, good people skills, is well-groomed with a professional appearance, and is dexterous and able to stand for extended periods. 

Earn an estimated average of $35-$40 per hour (base wage, commission, and tips).

Experience is preferred but training will be offered.

Schedule: Varies, including weekends and holidays. Hours: Vary, including evenings.
