The Technology Administrative Support role, a crucial part of our operations, is primarily designed to support users experiencing problems with their computers or software.
Support can be provided in person, over the phone, or online. IT support includes support for computer software or hardware, assisting with products, including troubleshooting to detect and solve technical problems, installing or updating required hardware and software, and recommending computer products or equipment to improve productivity.
The following outlines expectations regarding this position. The overall target of this position is to offer superb technical support to the firm, the tech team, and the advisors we support.
This position is classified as a non-exempt level employee of the General Agent and a direct report to the Technology Specialist.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Troubleshoot any browser, internet, and computer issues.
- Responsible for quarterly checks on computer updates and installed apps.
- Run a quarterly check on computer health and encryption.
- Troubleshoot printer issues and keep an inventory of toners.
- Installed and encrypted new computers and newly adjoined computers.
- Set up Room conference meetings and online sessions based on needs.
- Maintain or type up Private and public documentation.
- Install upgrades of computers and monitors for users
- Other duties as needed / requested by the Firm Technology SpecialistEXPECTATIONS :
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent work ethics.
- Ability to work with others as a team and alone on assigned projects.
