We are looking for an experienced scheduler to take responsibility for our company-wide production scheduling. This will include inventory and ERP functions, as it relates production planning and routing.
Responsibilities
• Resource loading: Determine and develop product build schedule and release to production based on requested customer dates, availability of materials, availability of labor and manufacturing equipment.
• System management: Ensure ERP Scheduling System has the proper settings to produce actionable schedules, while verifying data integrity. Implement untapped system features to drive deeper ERP integration and department coordination.
• Manufacturing knowledge: Understands manufacturing concepts to utilize the ERP system to improve process flow.
• Accuracy and reliability: Drives supporting business processes to ensure ERP Schedule is actionable by coordinating data from sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
• Reporting: Report to management and across business functions (visual production schedule, capacity planning, changes in planned dates, actual to planned performance, productivity, etc.)
• The position is responsible for the integration of planning schedules with hard orders to create visibility to material and labor needs throughout the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure the timely completion of customer orders
Qualifications
• Experience: Prior master scheduling experience (manufacturing or project) and working knowledge of a manufacturing environment and demand management techniques with an emphasis on multi-level product structures and routings.
• Knowledge: Strong scheduling knowledge including leveraging ERP scheduling along with various manufacturing techniques in production and planning.
• Communication: Ability to communicate both written and verbally with multiple levels of the organization.
• Leadership: Ability to manage expectations and requests from other leaders with competing priorities. Responsible for successful implementation of the ERP and the production plan.
