Our studio leadership has over 50 years of experience serving Clients in NY and throughout the northeast. Our work is focused on designing sustainable residential related communities. The services we provide include community planning, community branding, schematic design through full detailed construction plans, permitting and construction related services.
Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing:- Work with Project Landscape Architect in the planning and design of landscape development projects
- Research zoning, precedents, and agency regulations related to proposed projects
- Create conceptual project graphics, including plan and perspective renderings
- Work with project team to create proposal and presentation materials
- Perform assigned tasks related to conventional landscape and site plan design and layout, grading, and utility design site investigations and analysis and erosion control practices
- Research design materials and document
- Perform field inspections of site related construction to ensure compliance with specifications and construction documents as requested
- Coordinate with other project team members, both in-house and outside consultants, and attend client meetings as requested
- Contribute to written reports for Visual Impact Assessments, Draft and Final Environmental Impact Statements, Engineer’s Reports, and proposals as requested
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited university required
- Operational knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Programs, and SketchUp
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and practices involved in production of quality technical plans, drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of plant materials, design materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of site related structures
