Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an experienced Regional Decking and Railing Outside Sales Manager! Candidates must reside in one of the following cities; Hartford, Manchester, Pittsburgh, New York City, Rochester, or Boston.
The Regional Decking and Railing Outside Sales Manager (RDROSM) is responsible for leading a team of outside salespeople to launch and grow profitable sales of Decking, Railing and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) within their assigned Region. This role provides leadership and support to their team by being present in the field for joint sales calls, relationship building, prospecting, value creation, and training.

Responsibilities
- Hire, train, coach and lead Outside Sales Associates and other sales associates as assigned and required
- Use the Master Halco STEPS training program to create value for associates and customers
- Must become a Master Halco STEPS training program expert with the ability to lead, train and coach associates using the program conduct on-the-job training with their team to train, provide value which is customer serving
- Build long-lasting business relationships with key target DR&OS customers and sell products
- Inspire and motivate their sales team to produce results at a high level
- Ensures salespeople are aware of all available sales tools and resources
- If opportunities arise to sell non-DR&OS products such as fencing arise, facilitate sales and or hand off to the appropriate salesperson
Accountabilities:
- Take a leadership role in setting sales and margin goals for Decking/Railing and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) for the Region
- Expand and diversify the customer base
- Launch, grow and expand DR&OS product offerings to be a complete source for the customers
- Partner with Regional Manager to create and execute short and long-term sales plans that are measurable and have a clear objective
- Joint sales calls with field sales team to visit customers and provide on-the-job training
- Perform hands-on product knowledge and value proposition training for associates and customers
- Market analysis and sales strategy development
- Provide Sales Support and product expertise to customers as well as Master Halco associates
- Develop solid relationships with and the help of additional internal and external resources when needed including Manufacturers and Distributors

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Sales, Sales Leadership, Sales Training Experience
- Related industry experience preferred (Decking, Railing, Outdoor Living Products)
