Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Machine troubleshooting and repairs
Ability to read schematics & perform minor electrical repairs & diagnostic work
Ability to weld and soldering
Preventative maintenance including all documentation and record keeping
Parts ordering and part management
Assist all departments in repairs
General building maintenance
Vendor management, including quotes and scheduling
Troubleshoot repair of specialized equipment
Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.
Ensures that all personal safety, quality and assigned training is up to date and in compliance.
Supports and follows the policy of reporting incidents, near misses and improvement possibilities.
Perform other related duties as required
Available to work during off production hours if needed
Skills & Background
Certifications & technician education preferred
Knowledge and skills to operate a personal computer and CNC machines
Diagnostic & general equipment maintenance experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to identify complex problems and development innovative solutions
Ability to stay on task and manage/ communicate priorities
Attentive, considerate, inquisitive and empathetic to others
Lifelong learner, committed to expanding knowledge
