Our Roofing Advisors are roofing professionals who use a combination of experience, physical site inspection and modern technology to advise homeowners on the best next steps to repair or replace their roofing and skylights.
Roofing Advisors guide the homeowner through the process of choosing what solutions meet their needs, design a clear scope of work, and offer financial options that help meet the homeowner's goals.
Weekly supply of company generated sales leads provided, in addition to Roofing Advisor self-generated opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Effectively deliver in-person sales solutions in compliance with established company procedures and standards
- Document all sales activity in CRM with a high degree of accuracy and correctness.
- Maintain up-to-date calendar, be timely to appointments and responsive to customers and co-workers
- Attend department meetings, keep current on sales information, products, and industry trends
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Share knowledge and assist in training other sales representatives.
- Handle escalated customer service issues
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- At least 2 years of sales experience in roofing (insurance and retail)
- Excellent communication skills; good listener
- Ability to travel; must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to overcome objections and perform within a short sales cycle
- Ability to present sales pitch in a professional manner
- Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations
- Ability to safely walk long distances and climb stairs
- Customer service oriented
- Team player (member of a sales team)
- Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Roofing installation experience or certification preferred.
