Production Manager- Job description
Master’s Home Solutions, an independently owned and operated successful home improvement company which has been in business since 1957, is now actively seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team.
Communicate and follow up with customers about specific projects. Communicate with site superintendents about delays and any other issues that must be communicated to customers. Also assist the project manager in creating schedules, tracking, and ordering products and materials.
Communicate with and assist the office manager in any way necessary. Coordinate office activities and operations. Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.), office supplies, and reorder supplies if necessary. Also, greet customers/potential customers and assist them with their needs
Requirements:
- Construction/Home Improvement knowledge is an advantage but not required
- Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be a motivator of people
- Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
· Highly detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-focused
· Must have the ability to positively influence others, including a calm and patient demeanor when facing stressful situations and urgent deadlines
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop (or another type of editing tool), etc.
Job Responsibilities of Production Manager:
- Provides continuous communication to Operations Manager on production, facility, and associate accomplishments and/or concerns.
- Identifies arranges and/or provides training to ensure a safe, efficient, quality work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Facilitates communication, coordination, and conflict resolution within and among workgroups.
- Provides leadership to Associates in all areas including hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling, and corrective action
- Demonstrate Company Values and adhere to all safety, regulatory and quality requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains proper staffing levels to achieve budgeted levels of performance.
- Monitors departmental performance measures to ensure goals are met and develop/implements corrective/ preventive actions or recovery plans as necessary.
- Promotes an atmosphere of diversity, open communication, and trust, affording opportunities for training and growth.
- Manage and adhere to all company and client guidelines and procedures regarding production
- Monitors and works toward improvement of production efficiencies and productivity increases in all manufacturing departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
