How you will create an impact:

As a Manager at Simon-Kucher, you will be a critical member of our Digital Elevate practice in North America, driving value-based outcomes. You will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the Digital Elevate practice in North America. Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Lead and manage the delivery of client engagements while elevating the analysis and insights, and infusing client-centric depth for content, expertise, and knowledge to project deliverables. 
  • Drive project planning and execution by ensuring alignment of project delivery to client needs and objectives, as well as managing project cost structure and margin.  
  • Lead and manage multiple client engagements concurrently, define roles, oversee research and analysis, and ensure timely feedback and coaching for high-quality deliverables. 
  • Drive project planning and execution, being the primary point of contact for client teams and aligning with their needs, managing project cost and margin. 
  • Guide, teach, and work alongside a team of junior consultants to develop innovative insights and actionable recommendations using data, analytics, and research.  
  • Serve as an individual contributor, representing Simon-Kucher to deliver high-quality outputs and deliverables, meeting and exceeding client expectations. 
  • Project manage work across diverse disciplines and teams, keeping leadership abreast of risks, issues, milestone progress, and requirements for escalation.  
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with clients on peer-level by delivering high-quality, tailored recommendations and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders. 
  • Proactively participate in the development of Simon-Kucher's digital practice by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing new capabilities, thought leadership and tools to advance clients' business goals. 
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, understanding their needs, priorities, and challenges, and expand the commercial growth strategy footprint, offerings, and client base. 
  • Provide exceptional client service, communicate effectively, and handle challenging situations.  
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables and independently present project work-stream findings and recommendations to senior clients, incorporating feedback. 
  • Play an integral role in the recruitment and integration of new consultants in the digital practice, be a leader in the firm and contribute to Simon-Kucher's culture and success. 
Your profile:
  • Undergraduate degree required; preference for advanced degrees (MS, MA, MBA). 
  • 5 years of full-time work experience in a professional service environment, ideally in management consulting across diverse industries with a proven track record in managing client engagements. 
  • Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to join a top-tier consulting firm and contribute to its growth with an exceptional entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Proven expertise in B2C/B2B/D2C/D2B eCommerce, encompassing go-to-market strategies, conversion optimization, performance and lifecycle marketing, digital customer engagement, community building, and customer retention. 
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).   
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce), CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), digital marketing tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, SendGrid), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, SimilarWeb), and social media management (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a big plus. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills for distilling insights from extensive datasets. 
  • Effective presentation and communication skills to present findings, takeaways, and key recommendations to a senior audience. 
  • Exceptional team player with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep relationships with clients. 
  • Highly inclusive and empathetic approach to leadership and proven ability to manage and coach a high-performing consulting team. 
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

The pay range for this position in New York is $170,000-$180,000/yr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
