Job Description: As the Maintenance and Safety Leader, you will lead and engage in all aspects of occupational safety, health, and environmental systems. Your responsibilities will include program development, training coordination, record maintenance, investigations, safety performance tracking, regulatory compliance, and environmental management. You will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and driving continuous improvement initiatives; manage all EHS programs, conduct or guide injury incident investigations, track all incidents (injuries, first aids, near hits), review and make recommendations for EHS improvements, coordinate EHS inspections as well as maintenance audits, and facilitate new-hire safety orientation. Further duties include partnering with third party administrator on the coordination and management of workers compensation claims.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for EHS program development to achieve cultural permanence, site-specific performance objectives, and program implementation goals.
- Maintain understanding and knowledge of current applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and conduct injury investigations to determine correct root cause and corrective action.
- Lead implementation of injury reduction efforts and promote initiatives for a "Zero Injury Culture."
- Track and report operational safety performance.
- Supervise and provide support for day-to-day activities of the Maintenance department. Track and report maintenance audits.
- Support the environmental functions of the business, including maintaining reporting requirements and conducting training.
- Maintain and update the Facility Environmental Plan, including tracking wastes and seeking out recycling/reuse options.
- Coordinate safety training programs for all levels of the site organization.
- Provide leadership and facilitation to drive a sustained and effective plant safety committee.
- Function as emergency coordinator and develop/drive emergency response and business continuity initiatives.
- Lead the operation to best practices and best-in-class EHS results, including program development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory industrial hygiene requirements.
- Serve as the site security focal point.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance to facilities and equipment are completed in a safe efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- Advanced degree and/or professional certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety or Industrial Hygiene or any related.
- Good Leader.
- Strong track record for transformative results through programs, training, and culture shaping.
- Demonstrated success in EHS leadership and passionate commitment to the safety of others.
- Certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other apps like Power BI.
