What You Can Expect Working in the “Matador Inside Sales” Position
Department/Division: Matador Pole Barn Sales
Reports to: President of Steel Corp
Location: Thomasville, GA
Shift: 1st
Overtime: As Required
Position Type/Hours: Full-time | M-F | 8:00a – 5:00p
Travel Requirement: Less than 5%
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
In the Inside Sales role, you are responsible for generating lead through online and lead generation tools and updating customer information into a CRM. The Inside Sales role is responsible for the beginning lifecycle of a customers product, providing clear and accurate quotes to the customer working closely with the outside dealers, and Steel Corp’s installation team. The Inside Sales role provides. You will have frequent communication with customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering the company value proposition along with Pole Barn quotes to customers with 24 hours of quote request.
- Recording customer information and order in the CRM
- Converts quotes into Sales Orders at a minimum of 20%.
- Coordinates delivery between the Logistics team and customer
- Obtains a preferred delivery / installation date at time of sale.
- Invoices Sale and collects deposit and signed sales order.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to use or quickly learn CRM and other lead technologies, such as LinkedIn.
- Ability to build strong networks in and outside the organization.
- Strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business to consumer sales experience
- Retail sales experience
- Metal or Pole Barn sales experience
