Rental Coordinator

We are looking for a Rental Coordinator to take care of the short term rental needs of our Chattanooga and Knoxville customers with a high level of customer satisfaction. The Rental Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the equipment rental function for the branch and will assist customers (internal and external) in obtaining rental equipment appropriate to their needs.

Key Job Responsibilities include the following but a full list of duties is available upon request:

• Talk with customers to determine type & specs of equipment needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean, detailed, accurate, and organized department.
• Provide detailed rental asset preparation requests to service and battery departments.
• Make sure there is inventory ready to rent at all times.
• Ensure all assets are set up in the computer system correctly.
• Track location of equipment always.
• Complete all paperwork required for rental contract and delivery.
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of all rental equipment.
• Correctly prepare billing on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with other departments to properly maintain the rental fleet.
• Complete all required reports within the scheduled time requirements.
• Source rental equipment from outside vendors if needed.
• Actively pursue new rental business to increase sales both independently and by working with the sales team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General industrial lift truck knowledge preferred.
