The Manufacturing Resource Integrator will work directly with Fabrication Solution Engineers assisting with the setup of the proper resources required for individual programs. This will include interfacing with both internal and external resources, setting up and tracking purchase orders, setting up and tracking production orders to ensure customer program schedules are met. This position will require the incumbent to become fluent in multiple businesses process used by the various businesses that Fabrication Solutions encompasses.
You Will Have the Opportunity To:
Work in partnership with Fabrication Solution Engineers to develop a manufacturing strategy for each customer program
Execute all proper SAP transactions so both internal and external processes are documented properly
Monitor material flow across multiple business units
Ensure accuracy between the supplier and Materion SAP
Interface with Internal Sales and Customers to ensure customer programs are met
Negotiate improved pricing and deliveries with supply base
Participate in lean processes will be required with assistance from Fabrication Solution engineers
Work alongside Engineers if a root cause analysis needs developed and implement action plans to reduce late orders caused by supplier delays
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience and knowledge using SAP/ERP Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Purchasing, and MRP modules preferred
Individual must be able to independently analyze jobs and determine the most efficient way of completing the work.
Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team to meet demands.
Must possess basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office products and email.
Must demonstrate mechanical ability to read blue prints.
Must have good verbal and written skills.
Must have knowledge of basic math skills.
Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to provide customer service.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
