We are looking for a Publications Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Office to join our high-energy team in Washington, DC or Princeton, NJ. You will be responsible for producing complex documents, presentations, graphics, questionnaires, forms, and other products, using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software.

This Publications Specialist will be:

  • Using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to produce a variety of visually compelling products.
  • Collaborating with the team of researchers, writers, and designers to create high quality solutions for our clients, which include federal and state agencies, foundations, international, and private-sector clients.
  • Applying brand guidelines to documents and presentations.
  • Using excellent time management skills and flexibility to monitor and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Applying expert knowledge of software and hardware as well as creativity to our suite of products in order to meet business goals

Position Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience with large scale document production, preferably in a federal contracting environment
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite formatting techniques; creating and working with templates and style sheets, including page formatting of copy, placing photos and artwork.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CreativeSuite, particularly Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, (Illustrator a plus).
  • Familiarity with 508 compliance in document production
  • Experience working within a web ticketing system
  • A proactive attitude and great communication skills.

Various federal agencies with whom we contract require that staff successfully undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a condition of working on the project. If you are assigned to such a project, you will be required to obtain the appropriate security clearance.
