Job Summary:
The Master Scheduler and Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for creating, updating, and distributing long-term capacity plans and short-term detailed schedules that increase production throughput, respect constraints, optimize changeovers, material inventory levels and finished goods to align with the site profit objectives. This includes planning of production orders to support customer orders, forecasted demand and stock requirements. Monitor order completion and material delivery to meet customer ship dates and targeted service levels.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes plan and develop production schedule based on customer orders, forecasted demands, capacity constraints and agreed upon stock inventory levels to maximize throughput.
- Manage S&OP Metrics and process execution
- Works with Production, Customer Service and Supply Chain Teams to develop production schedules
- Monitors capacity requirements on processed products
- Updates schedule as required and distribute to appropriate parties
- Works closely with the Production to make sound business decisions that positively affect the ability to meet the needs of our customers while satisfying inventory, cost and delivery requirements.
- Tracks progress of customer orders and production jobs.
- Advises on anticipated problems that might delay an order or job and provide options if possible with necessary follow up.
- Analyzes delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Supports cycle count schedule and year-end inventory activities.
- Maintains data integrity within Epicor ERP system in order to provide timely and accurate information.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leader
Qualifications
Required Education, Certification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience in planning production schedules in a related industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Good communication and interaction skills.
- Detail oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to speak, write and read English.
- Ability to interact well with internal and external customers as well vendors.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with the aid of a calculator.
- Ability to plan and organize work schedules.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Preferred Education, Certification & Experience
- Experience in Epicor ERP Software
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to speak Spanish
