Job Title : Patching Coordinator
Duration : Contractor 12-18 months
Location : Hybrid environment (3 days onsite)

Required Pay Scale : $60 / hr W2

Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Patching Coordinator to manage and coordinate patching activities across our IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), MuleSoft, and Oracle systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in patch management, ensuring that all systems are updated, secure, and compliant with industry standards and organizational policies.
Patch Management :
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive patch management schedule for RHEL, MuleSoft, and Oracle systems.
- Ensure timely application of patches to address security vulnerabilities, bugs, and performance issues.
Coordination and Planning :
- Coordinate with various IT teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to schedule and deploy patches.
- Plan patch deployment activities to minimize disruption to business operations, considering maintenance windows and critical business periods.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain detailed records of all patching activities, including dates, systems affected, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and present regular reports on patch status, compliance, and any outstanding vulnerabilities.
Required Skills :
- 7 yrs of IT experience in patch management, with a focus on RHEL, MuleSoft, and Oracle systems.
- Extensive experience in coordinating patching activities in a large and complex IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration and patch management.
- Proficiency in managing and patching MuleSoft integration platforms.
- Familiarity with patch management tools and technologies.
