Position: Software Developer
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, 28282
Term: 24 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management of design, development, review and support of SAP technologies on-premise and on cloud platform.
• Architecture and Design work with a combination of on-premise technologies and cloud platform technologies (at least one unique set using UI5 application and integration to backend core) SAP ABAP,
• BW, Netweaver/Cloud Portal functionality as well as SAP Netweaver PI/PO against the business needs in a variety of functional areas.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges by working with system analysts and formulating strategies to address these challenges.
• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing SAP applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
• Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
• Maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP components and those that interface with other applications.
• Providing and owning SAP ECC, SRM, SCM, BW, or SAP front-end application development support in assigned areas.
• Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews/walkthroughs.
• Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
• Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
• Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
• Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
• Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
• As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
• Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

• 5 years of Dedicated experience in developing extension UI5 applications using Fiori Elements, ABAP CDS views and OData services on S/4HANA.
• 2 years of experience building Fiori apps using React/Nodejs/Angular or similar framework.
• 5 years of experience building complex ODATA services.
• 5 years of experience with SAP BTP, cloud, CDS and AMDP
• 5 Prior SAP Fiori/SAP UI5, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5, and REST API, strong Web development experience
• Good understanding of Fiori design patterns and expertise in UI theme designer
• 2 years of experience in Fiori launchpad configuration
• 5 years of software engineering experience
• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
