We're looking for a results-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our integrated marketing team. Here's the mix of what you'll be doing day to day:
- Provides high-quality client counsel, working closely with the Senior Account lead to develop client plans and assisting in the management of all client projects
- Recommends, collaborates and executes digital strategies; builds and nurtures strong relationships with key clients and internal teams
- Owns the development of presentation decks, conference recaps, monthly data reporting and balancing all account financials
- Participates in new business activities - playing a significant role in providing strategic guidance, competitive research, creative ideas and competently presenting and storytelling to potential clients
- Drives the relationship with Project Management, the account lead and internal teams to make sure deadlines and client expectations are met
- Establishes and continues to nurture deep understanding of client industries
- Provides thoughtful, constructive, feedback and information to team members
- Takes ownership to train and mentor junior team members and new hires, participates in quarterly employee reviews (prepares paperwork, communicates goals, etc.)
- Able to work closely with senior management to provide strategic direction and insight related to account activities, staffing and workloads
- Able to drive both internal and external account meetings and run weekly calls
- Provides high-quality client counsel on all aspects of digital marketing
- Able to build client confidence in guidance related to day-to-day tactical activities and overall strategy
- Drives account progress; plans and coordinates, delegates projects and manages activity of junior team members
- Understands the scope of work and is able to help identify opportunities to upsell and grow the account
- Ensures the team produces high-quality content by proofreading, editing, and providing feedback
- Proactively contributes ideas for professional development topics and where appropriate, volunteers to lead training sessions and workshops
- Participates in developing key strategies and client positioning
- Demonstrated ability to attend client events: presentations, briefings/intakes and conferences
- Can fully manage account, if called upon
- Manages up and across effectively
- Starts to develop client relationships outside the day-to-day contact
Along with creativity, drive and self-motivation, your previous experience and attributes will include:
- 4 years of post-college digital agency experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience
- Integrated digital marketing experience across channels like Social, Search and Email (CRM)
- Experience managing web projects like content refreshes, redesigns, landing pages, etc. (experience leading a site build from scratch a big plus)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker that can also drive projects through the system on-deadline and on-budget
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic and team-oriented environment
- Fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail
- Adaptable, dependable and promotes positive work environment
- Ability to work across multiple clients simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with project management tools like Trello/ClickUp/Asana is a plus
- HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM/CMS experience a big plus.
- Energy experience not required, but a definite plus
