Key Responsibilities
- Liaison between search and cross functional teams to help contribute towards a multi-channel approach/strategy
- Accountability for team development; this includes utilizing organizational tools such as L&D, creating internal opportunity and challenges for staff, maintaining positive morale
- Be the trusted advisor to search team, with demonstrated ability to lead the team, across all levels
- Establish current and long-term goals and objectives for responsible accounts, subject to approval by the Director
- Responsible for management of direct reports as well as overall development and success of the team
- Translate briefs into strategy; Work with Manager/Sr. Specialist to execute on that strategy; Monitor success and drive pivots as needed based on performance and ability to reach brand goals
- Lead tests & learns with expectation that these will be scalable across the client’s accounts. Expectation is also that these are shared out wider with Reprise team
- Ensure team has received all tools and training to excel in their roles.
- Continual evaluation of search marketing strategies to identify opportunity for competitive advantage for Reprise
- Master, identify and communicate trends in search and client industries
- Manage the overall day to day activity of managers and liaises with strategists to ensure key strategies and vision are deployed
- Create and present case studies, POVs, etc.
- Experience analyzing multi-touch attribution reports (Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
- Lead discussions on attribution, audiences, and intent internally and externally
- Ensures relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders are strong and both parties are achieving mutual satisfaction from their touchpoints
- Clear POV on the future of Search
- Display management skills, including understanding of setting expectations, ability to train others, delegate tasks and provide feedback
- Consolidates brand level learnings/findings and bubbles them up into learnings for execute reporting workstreams in partnership with Dir/VP
- Works with team (leading junior team members) to identify best way to showcase learnings. This includes creating persuasive and clear stories with data that are both insightful and actionable. This includes the reporting that the search team executes, but also, any inputs from search into cross-channel reporting.
- Oversight of recommendations for division of budget - accounting for search spend, agency fees, tracking fees, etc.
- Analyze search planning budgets, of assigned accounts, to identify strengths and weaknesses and ensures proper financial allocation
Desired Skills & Experience
- Expert in Google, Bing, and other search partners
- Advanced/Cutting Edge knowledge of at least two bidding platforms such as Marin, Kenshoo or SA360
- Polished presence and presentations skills (presentation will be required)
- Excellent writing skills with an attention to detail
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel is required
- Working knowledge of Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask and handle other duties as assigned
