JOB SUMMARY
The Production Control Associate will perform various production control activities including use of materials, monitoring customer orders, posting production schedules, and calculating production rates. Reviews and distributes production, shipment, and work schedules. Generates work orders and compiles production data. The Production Scheduler is also responsible for prioritizing and expediting work orders as/when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plans production schedules to meet due date and communicate with CSR/Sales on any delays
- Reviews sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
- Monitors the manufacturing schedule throughout each month, making changes as/when necessary (e.g. equipment failures, delayed arrival of resources, etc.).
- Interfaces with multiple departments on material status and production planning issues.
- Reviews and distributes production, shipment, and work schedules, as well as confers with department supervisors to determine work progress and completion dates
- Examines materials and products, and monitors work processes to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and conformance to required specifications and standards
- Create Work Orders for assembly, delivery and distribution of parts and supplies expedite flow of materials and to meet production deadlines and schedules.
- Performs revisions of production schedules when needed due to backlogs, material or labor shortages, design changes and other forms of interruption, while collaborating with the management, sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams
- Work closely with Purchasing team on any Material issues
- Follow up on Material arrival with receiving
- Other task assigned by Management
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of production control, planning, inventory control, and materials.
- Proficient in MS Office and in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
- Excellent communicator with basic math skills and analytical aptitude.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, even when working under pressure.
- Fastener Manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility and understanding of working hours and ability to effectively work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency required in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Confident, self-starter who can work well with minimum supervision and strong attention to detail.

Salary : $32,600 - $41,300
