JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager provides leadership, direction and expertise in procurement, scheduling, and shipping activities. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring that materials and production are coordinated in order to consistently and predictably meet customer demand.
JOB FUNCTION
- Establishes procurement processes that align with corporate objectives, bring uniformity to purchasing activities, reflect best purchasing practices, ensure for continuity of material supply, and produce positive profit contribution to the site
- Oversees all aspects of supplier relations, both material providers as well as outside service providers, to include identification and source selection, supplier agreements and management inventory investment, and establishes payment terms that meet the company’s objectives.
- Completes make vs buy analyses across internal and external suppliers and service providers to improve critical site KPIs, including quality, delivery, and profitability
- Participates in quoting process to ensure new business is both competitive in the market and profitable for the business
- Develops and implements KPIs or scorecards to evaluate both supplier and department performance.
- Creates and manages the effectiveness of production scheduling processes across all internal and external operations
- Manages the shipping function and associates and drives process improvements to ensure optimal performance of the shipping department
- Responsible for inventory management processes and procedures
- Takes a leadership role in cross functional projects to improve site capabilities and performance on critical KPIs

Experience
Required- 10 year(s): • Minimum of 10 years combined experience across procurement and/or manufacturing operations
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Logistics /Supply Chain Management
