Job Title: Bookkeeper
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper for a Canandaigua La to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing general ledger reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Perform 10-key typing to input and manage numerical data efficiently
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Complete bank reconciliations for operating accounts and attorney trust accounts to verify balances and resolve discrepancies
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to maintain financial records
- Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and variances
- Apply knowledge of debits, credits, and other financial concepts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical accounting and bookkeeping utilizing Quicbooks Cloud and CLIO. Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation processes
- Strong 10-key typing skills for numerical data entry
- Ability to manage accounts, bank reconciliations, and payroll effectively
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience in account analysis and identifying financial discrepancies
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and various financial concepts
