The major function of this position is:
To be a dedicated financial accounting resource in several different areas, including financial statement consolidation, inventory and cost accounting, month-end/year-end close, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accruals and reserves, and special projects as requested.
The primary responsibilities and duties of this position are:
- Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of financial information, meeting required deadlines.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package to support the consolidation process.
- Assist in the preparation of various disclosure appendices for parent and group level reporting requirements.
- Perform consolidated variance analysis, such as variance from the budget, variance from prior month, variance from prior year, and report significant issues to management.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing duties which will include posting of journal entries, preparation of reserve accruals, and preparation of account reconciliations.
- Prepare and assist in monthly inventory reconciliations, eliminations, and cost accounting responsibilities.
- Monitor and analyze subsidiaries monthly results against budget and forecasts.
- Prepare and proactively participate in business reviews with middle and top management.
- Support the Accounting Team with the maintenance and improvement of control systems, policies and procedures both locally and globally.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation and compliance of internal audit requests.
- Ad-hoc projects as required.

Desired Qualifications:
Below is the preferred education and experience for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience (2-5 years) in a similar accounting and reporting role
- CPA preferred, but not required
