Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a LicensedPractical Nurse (LPN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of thenursing process and deliver of patient care. With Maxim, you work with patientsin a one-on-one setting from the comfort of their home. A Home HealthcareLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) focuses all their skills and attention on asingle patient, ranging in age and acuity level. All Licensed Practical Nurses(LPNs) hired will work under the supervision of an RN Clinical Supervisor. TheHome Healthcare Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will consistently performaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.
Responsibilities
· Provide skilled nursingcare to pediatric and adult patients in a home setting
· Implement, develop, anddocument the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care forpediatric patient
· Provide health educationto patients and caregivers
· Communicate effectivelywith the patient, caregivers, external nursing staff, and the patient’sClinical Supervisor
· Utilize the nursingprocess to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
· Performs focused interviewto identify specific patient needs
· Collects, analyzes, andinterprets data and information from health care professionals and documentsactual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
· Other Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) duties as assigned
Requirements
· Must have an activeLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
· Home health or PrivateDuty Nursing experience preferred
· Pediatric and EternalFeeds experience required, Trach and Ventilator care experience preferred*
· Current CPR accreditedby American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross
Pay Rate/Bonuses
$25 - $27/hour,negotiable
$1,000 sign on bonus,$1,000 referral bonus
