Job Description:

Working on customer designs involving Maxim Integrated microcontroller and security products. Developing collateral (board designs and software) to support Maxim Integrated microcontroller and security products. Assist Maxim Integrated customers with their microcontroller and security designs. Create technical collateral (computer board, software, papers) related to Maxims microcontroller and security product lines. Work with the microcontroller and security business unit to develop new designs for their microcontroller and security products. Developing training materials for internal support team at maxim, focusing on microcontroller and security designs.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and 4 year of work experience in job offered or closely related occupation.

Employer will also accept: Master degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and 2 year of work experience in job offered or closely related occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/ knowledge includes: Software competency (C , C#, Python or equivalent). Knowledge of ARM and RISC-V processor functions. Knowledge of SHA-1 and SHA-256 security protocols. PCB/board layout techniques and applications. Schematic design and generation. Knowledge of I2C, SPI, 1-Wire, JTAG and UART interfaces.
