Responsibilities

Join MaxLinear and you will work closely with a world-class team of IC designers to design high-performance ICs with RF, analog, mixed-signal and digital systems integrated on a single chip. We are seeking recent MS/Ph.D. grads and experienced Analog/MS IC design engineers.

 

The team drives architecture, design, implementation, and verification of high-performance analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks as ADCs, DACs, Clocking, VCOs, DLLs and supporting circuitry.

 

Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Design and implement relevant circuit blocks
  • Analyze the effects of non-idealities on circuit performance
  • Collaborate with system engineers to optimize circuit designs and system specification trade-offs
  • Characterize and debug relevant blocks in silicon
  • Report the results of IC design, analysis and evaluation

Qualifications

  • Strong background in analog/mixed-signal circuits for RF and wireline applications
  • Solid understanding of CMOS process and device physics
  • Knowledge of RF systems modeling, and analysis is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related  6 years of experience, or MS  3 years of experience, or Ph.D.
