HR Generalist II - Health Department

Salary: $66,300.00 - $106,331.00 Annually An HR Generalist II performs a wide variety of professional human resources work involving assignments of a complex nature requiring a broad knowledge of human resources. Work of this class may involve leading paraprofessional human resource and office support employees but does not involve full supervisory duties or responsibilities. Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in as office where working conditions are normal. The work requires minimal physical exertion. Selection Process: All candidates indicating the minimum qualifications on their application will be placed on the eligible list without further examination. The training and experience of each candidate will be evaluated for appropriateness and quantity. It is essential, therefore, that you give complete and accurate information on your application. Minimum Qualifications: On or before the date of filing the application, eligible candidates must: EDUCATION: Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. AND EXPERIENCE: Have three years of experience in human resources administration. OR NOTES (EQUIVALENCIES): Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of graduate course work in human resources administration, business administration or public policy from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each year of the experience requirement.
