Job Details
Mayvin is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve as a Signature Reduction Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will provide support to a USSOCOM customer. The candidate will be part of a team that is charged with quickly providing SOF units deployed globally with innovative government and commercial off-the-shelf solutions that address urgent requirements.
Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.
Must have an active Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Assess and develop recommendations for current and future SR requirements by conducting mission and SR requirements analysis
- Provide advice and assistance with signature reduction plan and support development
- Assist with acquisition, accountability, and employment oversight of enterprise signature reduction mechanisms
- Support the maintenance, issuance and recovery, inventories, and turn-in of the SR Program items and assist subordinate organizations. Shall write, staff, and track SR Program documents
- Assist with operational unit coordination, planning, and concept development
- Assist in the production of products and actions related to signature reduction staffing, coordination, and acquisition
- Assist with signature reduction related assessments, analysis, briefings, reporting, and policy and procedure development
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited university (or master's degree preferred but not required)
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of direct related experience supporting USSOCOM
- Experience supporting the daily management and oversight of a Signature (SR) / Operations Security (OPSEC) Program
- SOF SMU experience
- Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, and company management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
- Willingness to travel (15% of the time)
- Have a minimum of two of the three following courses: (1) Advanced Technician, (2) Advanced Planners, (3) Due Diligence
