Our Risk Consulting group is looking for a consulting professional with experience in internal audit from a client facing perspective. In this position you will work as part of a consulting team and are expected to play a significant role in client engagement, along with maintaining additional internal (non-client) responsibilities. Our clients trust in your accomplishments, talent and perspectives on strategic acquisitions. This is a national practice. The position should ideally take place near our New York, NY and Chicago, IL Mazars U.S. office locations and our firm also offers working remotely. What you will do: Client Service and Delivery Deliver services as part of an engagement team with general supervision Participate in client and internal presentations, work product or report development and deliverable creation Ability to identify risks, internal controls to mitigate risks, and opportunities for improvement using sound judgement Project Management Complete tasks within scope through effective time management Contributes to project/work planning and status reporting on engagements Recognize, research and participate in resolution of engagement issues Perform careful self-review of work to ensure individual quality control Business Development, and Firm Growth Assist in proposal development as needed Participate in internal efforts to build methodologies and create business development materials Participate in business development pursuits Professional Growth Develop and maintain expertise in technical & industry areas Develop an understanding of all GRC offerings and tools required by the professional services delivered Maintains ongoing CPE requirements and development What we seek: 4 years of internal audit consulting experience serving a variety of clients; preferably at a national consulting firm Experience performing FDICIA & SOX Testing & documentation Exposure to financial services or the banking industry is a plus Bachelors and advanced degrees are a preferred Professional credentials such as, CPA or CIA is valued Ability to proactively manage multiple commitments and work as project teams Experience building effective relationships with clients and colleagues Excellent organizational and time management skills utilizing project management methods and tools Ability to interact with all levels of management, internal and external Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of MS Project, Access, & Visio a plus Ability to travel, when applicable Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required What We Offer: Competitive base salary and incentive compensation plan A comprehensive, competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental and life insurance plans, a generous paid days’ off (PDO) plan, and a competitive 401k Plan A dynamic, diverse work experience in a growing global organization An inclusive, client-centered environment where you can develop new skills, enhance your overall business knowledge and work with world-class professionals Intensive customized training, including in-house leadership development programs, continuing professional education courses, and both classroom and on-the-job training Opportunity for International Mobility experiences are also made available Who We Are: Mazars in the U.S. is an independent member firm of The Mazars Group, an international audit, tax, and advisory organization with operations in over 90 countries.
