Job Description
mBridge solutions is looking for an eLearning Developer for their direct client in Houston, TX.
- Build courses using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Articulate, etc.) ensuring performance on desktop and mobile screens.
- Design quizzes, mini-games and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention.
- Upload courses into LMS test environments, ensure that they are SCORM compliant and that they conform to client LMS standards.
- Work with broader team and stakeholders for review, revision and deployment of courses and assets.
- Assist as needed with the management and administration of course deployment, providing technical advice and support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in developing learning content.
- Experience planning and leading large-scale enterprise or cross-organizational projects to completion is preferred.
- Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions and work with customers at all levels of the organization and display a strong customer-focus.
- Possesses an understanding of quality instruction based on sound learning science, adult learning principles, interoperability standards and web accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of instructional design methods and techniques used in needs analysis, instructional design, course development and impact measurement.
- Ability to look at situations systemically, taking into consideration the larger context including competing pressures, resource constraints and anticipated change.
- Mastery of MS Word and MS PowerPoint to create instructional materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation and project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge and use of Articulate Storyline.
- Experience with and knowledge of SCORM and Tin-Can API.
- A practical knowledge of information architecture, content strategy and user interface design a plus.
- Knowledge and use of the Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Skills in graphic design a plus.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A team player with an optimistic attitude. Willing and eager to learn new things.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with instructional design, curriculum development, blended learning and online training programs.
- Experience with eLearning software development tools such as Captivate and Articulate Studio.
- Learning management platforms such as Adobe Captivate Prime, People Fluent and Success Factors.
