What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at McAdam Financially Advanced?
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily focused on developing and understanding our client’s data and then generating meaningful analytics such as dashboards and reports utilizing the data contained in the one application that serves as the organization’s repository. The Analyst will conceptualize, design, and develop these reports and dashboards with the goal of transforming data concepts into clear communications for various key business stakeholders.
The Analyst will learn our client’s business and use that knowledge to understand the data that’s meaningful to our client’s applicable stakeholders. In addition to learning our client’s business, application repository, and data, the Analyst will be the organization’s expert with Power BI.
The Analyst will also be the main point of contact for issues related to both the user side and backend of the application repository. The Analyst will trouble shoot issues, and either resolve the issue or direct it to the next level of support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Analyze data in CRM for accuracy and recommend changes as needed.
- Analyze processes and procedures to ensure data is tracked properly.
- Develop process documentation and training material as processes and systems are improved.
- Provide informatics support for specific business issues.
- Connect APIs to application repository
- General IT support as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of IT experience.
- Ability to analyze data and clearly present findings
- Proficiency with the Power BI reporting tool is a must have.
- Strong MS Office skills: expert level skills with MS Excel are a must.
- Create regulatory reports and dashboards as well as ad hoc reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal skills including communication (listening and responding), collaboration, and interaction skills with internal and external audiences.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills and good work planning skills.
Work Remotely - No requirement to be in the office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
