Elite Development, a joint venture between J.H. Berra Construction Company and McBride Homes, is one of the largest real estate developers in St.
Louis. Each year Elite Development is responsible for developing over 1,000 homesites for the top homebuilders in the area.
Elite Development is currently seeking a Land Development Laborer to join our team. This position is outdoor work year-round with a starting pay of $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
Essential responsibilities :
- Perform regular jobsite cleaning and maintenance
- Check quality and inspect jobsite
- Assist in maintenance and construction of fences, earthwork, and erosion control
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for the job
- Work with power washers, tools, and other heavy equipment
- Assist Construction Manager with job-related tasks
Requirements :
- Capable of operating equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly for an entire work shift
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, dust, noise, and cold
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Preferred :
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Experience working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Experience working in undeveloped areas, difficult terrain, steep hills, rocky ground, and wet and muddy conditions
Elite Development offers a salary of $20 - $23 per hour (depending upon experience), a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits, and potential for advancement to a Construction Manager position.
