McBride is a certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) management and IT consulting firm with significant professional services experience that includes IT transformation, project management, digital transformation, strategic planning, business process improvement, change management, human capital management, disaster recovery, and operations.
Background: McBride is looking for a new team member with strong management consulting skills who can support a large grants management project for a Federal client, with a heavy focus on financial management.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the McBride team with financial management and reviews of Federal grants.
- Working with Excel to build detailed and coherent reports with heavy data requirements.
- Building deliverables in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Supporting project management activities and working with the project manager to maintain contractual compliance
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of management consulting experience within the Federal government, preferably at a major consulting firm and focusing on data analysis, change management, and/or business process improvement.
- Aptitude for managing, working, and communicating with diverse stakeholders, teams, and clients face-to-face and via teleconference.
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate with multiple functional groups.
- Ability to deliver high quality products using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with clients and stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location: 1775 Tysons Blvd, McLean, VA 22012 (or onsite with clients)
Education and Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- US Secret or above Security Clearance Preferred
- Must be a US citizen
