What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Members position at McClain & Co., Inc.?
McClain & Co has immediate openings for Traffic Control Crew Member for our Traffic Control Division in Culpeper, VA
- Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record (will need to provide a copy of motor vehicle record from DMV)
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Traffic control experience preferred but not required
- Some out of town travel is required – Company will pay travel expenses and meal allowance
- Company benefits are offered – Health, 401(K) with 3% Employer match, Sick and Vacation Pay
- Starting rate of pay is based upon previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- Setting temporary work zones on highways with cones, barrels and signs
- Loading/Unloading work zone equipment
- Managing traffic safely through work zones while standing, using a stop/slow paddle and/or radio communication.
- Ability to operate Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA)
